I'm hoping someone from Stardock will read this. I purchased Galactic Civ 3 some time ago on steam but still haven't been able to to start it. Went through the steps suggested by stardock to fix the problem, nothing worked. In the end I gave up and submitted a ticket along with the file stardock's support tool generated. Didn't get an answer so submitted a new one. Its been a week and still no answer, not even an automated message to let me know the ticket was received. Checked my spam folder but nothing. I'm fairly patient but at the very least an email acknowledging my ticket would have been nice, is anyone looking into customers' problems or am I just being ignored here? My ticket number is LMK-546-66729.
I hope your not being deliberately ignored,they are however working on releasing 1.2 patch in 4 days hopefully it contain the fix you need?
I hate it when a co. does this. Have you logged back into support to make sure your ticket is in your list? I only ask because i have done many tickets with SD and have always gotten a quick auto reply email most often followed by a not so quick follow up.
If you have registered an e-mail with your registration then it should automatically send you an e-mail right away if your ticket was sent successfully. If not, you may have to send Stardock support an e-mail to support@stardock.com to have them check that all is ok with your account.
Thanks for the responses. I followed the link at the bottom of the support page https://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/496/0/general-galactic-civilizations-iii-troubleshooting . It never asked me to log in or sign up. Just took may details and gave me a ticket number. I'll try signing up and submitting a new ticket like that.
Again thanks for the help guys, checked my email again, looks like my client couldn't authenticate with my mail service, my emails have been sitting on the server and the ticket was closed . My bad, I'll try to reopen it.
