Races that developed differently in the techtree woulde have stronger advantages in their goal/strategy when playing to their main style in the game
Exsample:
(if the limit system was in the game "think that in you head")
Basic limit to production per planet is 30 hammers.
but if you get the tech for a stronger version of the factory building,
Then uppgrade your factory into Version 2.0
the hammer limit per factory with the stronger version (xeno factory) gets a higher limit to more production/hammers (note the limit to production gets higher because it was uppgraded)
(which is 5 hammers normally per factory)
so its 10 hammer per uppgrade factory
of course what i suggest got a lot of other factors involved such as adjacency bonus and tech progress, including %stats, but it coulde be fun
also 5 is a bit high per factory so maybe 2/1 since its a limit system Idea!
and it woulde mean you have to choose how the planets will develope (i am refering to somthing like this.
you got a full eco planet giving you a lot of cash but 180 BC is the limit (due to the market centers being there), but it cant produce more than 30 hammers (by choice) due to the limit system, this applies to research as well.
(30 is the basic limit for the planet)
(so the only way to get it higher is to build, a building such as a factory or market center to increase the limit to 35 production max on the planet and 35 max to income.
