Hi,

I know there are a few people on here that have had this issue, or a similar one, before so I was wondering if anyone could help.

When I go to launch the game steam says preparing to launch, this disappears but nothing else happens, I don't even get an error message. 

The first time I went to launch the game I got the sign up screen which I completed and after that it completely froze my laptop so I had to restart it and since then I have been having the aforementioned issue.

I have verified the game files, checked that my firewall and antivirus weren't blocking it, reinstalled the game, and tried running it as admin. None of these have worked.

I currently have:

Nvidia GeForce GT 650M graphics card
Intel i7 3630QM processor
Windows 8.1 
8GB RAM

I'm hoping that's all of the relevant information

I have been trying to put off contacting the support centre as it's the weekend and I'm assuming they won't do much in the way of support until Monday.

Any help would be greatly apreciated and sorry if this issue has already been dealt with earlier in the forum.
