So, I just got the game yesterday. Didn't do much research into it or anything. And it's my first Galactic Civilizations game.
Other than for the crashing (probably my laptop's fault not the games) I loved it. I spent all day playing the game, stayed up on it till 1:30 am and didn't wanna get off. I'd be on it right now, but have to go to work (work once a week so I know where I'll be for the rest of the week).
Great game. The ability to make your own ships and civ's is the main reason I got into this game so much.
