EDIT: IT FIXED ITSELF. I'D DELETE THE THREAD TO SAVE PEOPLE EFFORT BUT I CAN'T XP

I know it's a very vague question, but I really can't wrap my head around what I'm doing... What I am TRYING to do is make some shipsets for my Mass Effect mod (I realise one exists, but I'm trying to focus on visual accuracy and races that fit into the existing game).

The thought of making custom shipsets is mindblowingly exciting, but I can't manage to even make a start on it.

I know how to make xmls, edit existing ones and I'm actually pretty good at making ships. The problem is actually making the modded race. I just have no clue how to make one, I feel like I've been staring blankly at endless folders and wondering how to make it all fit together. That's probably the easiest part, but I guess with the way I personally learn how to do things, I've become absolutely stuck.
