Turning off Diplomacy and Trade

Hi guys,

I'm planning out a custom race with a 'knows no mercy, knows no fear, cannot be reasoned with' kind of feel. However, with this being the case its a little odd that they can be talked to and/or traded with. Is it possible to turn off diplomacy and trade so that when you're playing against them (I don't plan to play as these guys myself), that they are simply there like an unstoppable tide that you have no choice but to fight to the bitter end?

I supposed you could change the tech tree so there are no trade licenses, besides also setting their trade licenses to 0.

Removing the universal translator from the tech tree might work, but I don't know if the AI needs it, as I recall being able to talk to the Drengin without them having it.

As said you could eliminate thier trade routes but that wont prevent anyone from trading with them just prevent them from trading with others

as for talking to them once you uave U.T. You can talk to anyone so i dont think you can prevent people from talking to them.

Now then in one of the dev streams i asked about races haveing custom +/- diplomacy values and got a "yeah you should be able to do that " kind of response. If thats the case you should be able to modify them to just hate everything
