Japanese translation Problem

I translated FactionText.xml Japanese. But the letter was not given.

I want an answer to two of the next.

(1) Is the text 1-byte sequence?

(2) Does 2-byte sequence support in the future?

I was able to translate GC2. I want to translate GC3. Please.
