I spoke too soon. I kept playing, lost the first campaign and started another. 

After finishing the first mission of the second campaign it crashed again. 

I can rotate the planet and the music stops playing after a while (when the loop ends maybe). 

Let me know if you want me to try something when it happens.

If there's any other thing I can do to help let me know. It's a little bit cumbersome to have to quit the game every time I finish a campaign mission.
