This may or may not be a bug, however it is a little confusing and odd at times.
To start, I have a single ship, my scout, with 3/3 moves. Turn 12, I have issued the command to move nine spaces away.

Now the trail looks correct on this turn and the scout has already used it's moves for the turn as well, 0/3 remain on Turn 12.
What is a little off, or at least mildly distracting is on the next turn, prior to ending it of course, the "green" portion of the line appears to show the current turns moves as well as what will be commenced on the next, in essence, making the ship look as though it can move a total of six spaces on Turn 13. The trail will appear correct at first, however, in order to create this little distraction or error, however, it is determined, just click off the said ship and then click back on the ship without issuing any commands to it and without ending the turn.

It is only mildly distracting and/or misleading, if you aren't expecting it or knowing what is happening. Perhaps there could be some kind of "Current turns issued command moves" broken into there, showing where the ship will turn at the end of the turn.
The way this looks right now is if I were to hit "End Turn", my scout ship would move six total spaces, however, that obviously isn't the case per the previous screenshot and knowing it's capabilities.
I hope I'm being clear with my point or idea, if not, I think I can demonstrate it with additional graphics, = )
Just let me know!
