Blurry text sounds like your video drivers may be applying some very poor quality antialiasing like effect.  This is often a problem with NVidia drivers and their FXAA modes which end up applying on non games too.

Have tried several different of the latest WHQL drivers too with same result. Its not the nvidia drivers. Text in IE ,pale moon, Chrome is all fine.

Version 8.06 works just fine with firefox.

What did you do to v 8.095?

I see no other solution then to go back to 8.06. (which works fine with firefox)
