When you say "load from an earlier save" do you mean a save created from an earlier version of the beta?  This is a beta at the moment, and in previous Stardock beta programs save file formats frequently changed between beta versions, so loading from an earlier version is not supported.

If you didn't mean that, then I apologize for misunderstanding.

i had a similar issue it diddent boot me straight to desktop though the game would load from the autosave i could see the map and ui and then it would crash within about 1 second of getting into the game i dont think the save was corrupted i think it was trying to do something that crashed the game and saved just before attempting it

i submitted a ticket for it

what i mean is when i try too load a auto-save from earlier in the game
