The title is pretty straight forward. I've encountered some really funky bugs just reloading my games. In one example, I had an arcane monolith that had just been destroyed by a wolf pack and when I reloaded the wolves were on the tile, but it wasn't destroyed.
But the big one seems to be data that doesn't appear to be clearing properly, probably related to what happened in the first example. The more you load your game without fully restarting your game, performance and graphic quality continually degrade. First thing I notice is water disappearing, then movement animations intermittently disappear. Eventually the game starts slowing down a bunch and eventually crashes.
But why reload your game so often? Well for me, It's trying to get good/better randomized loot. I generally aim for nice weapons or permanent stat upgrades, and occasionally beast collars which can be very OP depending on what you use them on. It doesn't take many +1armor books to get a hefty advantage in the game, though it would take absolutely forever to get those every time
