Ultimate offense vs. Ultimate defense. Who wins? Yea, I've read that the Ragnarov is the strongest in a 1v1 titan slugfest and that the Ankylon is underwhelming in terms of firepower, but it's just so incredibly tough to kill. So I opened up the dev version and pit them against each other.

Loyalists have only Ankylon Prototypes
Ragnorav 10: 2 Scattershot/Overcharge, 4 Snipe/bottom passives, 4 bombers
Ankylon 10: 4 Furious Defense/Group Shield/bottom passives, 4 bombers
I don't know if this is a case of the weak countering the strong, or if the Ankylon just doesn't have much that can push it to its limits. All I know is the Ankylon actually beat the Ragnarov. It couldn't scratch Ragnarok while Furious Defense wasn't up, but with its health consistently being pushed to the activation point, the extra damage gave it just enough oomph to overcome Ragnarov's defenses.
This is by no means a realistic battle, but the two were perfectly balanced for this outcome. If Ragnarov had been slightly weaker, Ankylon's Furious Defense may not have activated enough to overcome Ragnarov's armor. If it had been slightly stronger, Ankylon's Furious Defense/Group Shield may not have been enough to overcome Ragnarov's raw firepower.

The balance was tipped in this fight. The antimatter provided by the star meant Ragnarov could use Snipe much more frequently, and the shield restore boost meant Ankylon never got the chance to dent its hull.

And the balance returns to the Loyalists. With extra armor, shielding, and firepower, Ankylon became too tough to overpower and strong enough to fight back

At this point, Ragnarov didn't have the firepower to overcome Ankylon's upgraded defenses, and Ankylon didn't have to fight a boosted shield restore rate. Ankylon's victory.
