So how much better is this than War Of Magic ? Should i buy FE ?

First off let me say i have been playing War of Magic for the past week and having a ton of fun. Perhaps i am to new to the series to notice all of the "game breaking" bugs that people have raged about or maybe stardock just patched fixes since WOM's release.

Anyway my question is how much better is FE than WOM, What exactly is different in FE from WOM that would warrant a purchase? If anyone could give specifics that would be great, Thx in advance

FE is much much better, worth a buy, especially at steams price of what -- $27?

As for specific differences, it's been too long since I played beta WoM. Certain things are much changed (essence, no dynasties, no attacking armies of pioneers, much more stable, etc.).

Best I can say is that if you like WoM you'll more than likely love FE.

So much has changed for the better it's very difficult to list all the changes. If you like, for instance, the dynasty system or the ICS present in WoM, you may be disappointed in FE. But overall the core game mechanics of FE are vastly superior in every way to WoM.

If you enjoy War of Magic then Fallen Enchantress really is a must buy. Everything is improved, but the most important thing is that game design is improved. That means more interesting, better balance and different game mechanics that flow together better.

The battles are better in WOM, but Enchantress is a decent game, you will enjoy it!

its a dream come true. has its own nightmares, a small ones, but excellent and replayable like hell.

If you like WOM and are ok with not having kids then I suggest without a doubt to buy it. The graphics are much better. The AI actually uses magic. You will not be able to settle everywhere like in WOM. The leveling up of champions changed. In EFE you pick traits vs WOM that you add points to certain abilities. This game has bugs and some polish issues but for the most part pretty good. I have not had any bugs that crashed my computer. I think one time I did fall into an endless loop. For any one that has every played MOM before, these things can happen.

From my personal experience with WOM, which I found fustrating, I'd say FE is a much more enjoyable game.

I can believe they took out dynastys?! That was such a awesome feature in WOM, What were they thinking.... Anyway thx for the responses guys, Gonna wait until the 5th to see if steam does a flash sale or 50-75% off before i purchase. Love this series/game so much
