This should prob be toned down just a wee bit. 800 gold will allow you to rush 2 pioneers and a decent starting army for a big advantage. How about 300 starting gold with 20% income bonus to make this trait interesting but not going too crazy.

I believe that you would be making a mistake. I know that ridiculous is a lot harder without wealthy, but I could probably forsake brilliant without noticing.
