On the one hand, yeah the graphics when close up (like in the char screen) are not very high quality.

On the other hand, she's supposed to be some kind of undead / wraith thing right ? I don't think it's bad that not every undead/demon/fallen w/e female lead is a super hottie like Sylvanas or something

So, I understand your point but it also doesn't really bother me.

Improving them would come at the cost of performance, and 95% of the game is played zoomed out so far you can't tell the difference.

Sorry That i disagree, i'm not the technican type, but i do know that you can easily change the impression of a character by change their body tone, the wide & height of body part like shoulder, waist, hip....etc. You don't need HD texture to do that

For example, if you want to show that man is strong , make his shoulder wider, His chest bigger, ,.....etc

Now let see about the model of FE , take a female model without wear any robe, dress, what did we see...... the lower part look quite okay, but the upper part..... it look more like a man chest than a woman breast. You see the problem in here is the clothe , it look stiff , straight from head to toe, it pretty much cover every shape, curve of the body . In my opinion , Stardock just need to change a bit about the shape of the body & how that body look with robe or armor on it
