[1.0][Question/Problem] Regarding sea travel and ranch

sorry if the questions are a bit nooby

Sup! might be a stupid question, well rather 3 stupid questions.

Made a skirmish game and ended up starting on a small island, So

1. is there naval units?

1b. if above = no, how the heck do you get across the sea?

2. found dock/harbour in research, but cant find them in city build list, whats required?

3. Conserning, stables/ranch, if research the tech and upgraded a outpost to stable, but i cand find how to upgrade to ranch? special req other than tech?

There is only a ship in the campaign. You can use Raise land spell to get off islands, but you are NOT supposed to be on an island. If you have a savegame I'm sure the devs would like to see it.

The docks/harbours only boost food and such in skirmish.

1. There weren't any naval units in Beta, but there was one in the Campaign. Not sure if they are in the standard game/tech.
Typically (in Beta), if you needed to cross water a Champion with Earth Magic (III) has the Raise Land spell

2. Your City needs to be next to a River or body of water to build dock/harbors

3. Ranch Upgrade was available somewhere further up the Tech Tree IIRC

Thanks for the answers got kinda wierd, started on a tiny island at the bottom of large map on my first skirmish game was like wtf?!

Guess the devs need to work the random map tool a bit or release an update with naval units or teleports.
