Ok, finished a long game and was able to get the artifact achievement but the Pirate Exterminator and the 30 mission achievements still did not trigger. I killed something like 8,500+ pirates in the game (according to stats) and I know for a fact I completed at least 100 missions over the 21+ hours. I did it against 6 vicious so personally I think you need an achievement for that
