AI clearing epic quests on turn 45!

Subject says it all.  Season 45 and I'm clearing weak quests while I level up and AI soverign with wolf and archer is clearing epic quests.  Normal level for me, ultra easy mode for AI?

I noticed this too, that the AI was very weak compared to me and yet it managed to complete an Epic quest before I could. Maybe since the AI uses auto-resolve instead of tactical combat the formula for calculating the victor needs to be tweaked?

If you enter an epic quest tile and choose not to do it, the quest disapppears (which may be a bug anyway). Is this what the AI's are doing? Is there evidence that they have attempted the battle (less unit, uber gear when attacking them, etc)?

I saw the AI attack the worm thingy in curgen's tomb, and lost.  It didn't disappear, took 40 hp off him though.  I then moved in and attacked.  Killed him easily, he just moved left and right in the crevice and I just kept casting focused fire darts at him.  Was kind of dissapointing how easy it was.
