i was loading a save game and ive just found that i cant change the game options 

you used to be able to edit game settings - you can still change the AI skill level late game but cant change fleet size and teams locked or not. 

sometimes i like to play very long games with 10 players and the best way to do that is to set fleet size to small then increase it to large when there are  5 or  less players left alive - meaning the game does not slow down as much

Can be changed in the final release - make it like i used to be please i dont see how it could have harmed the game - i get you couldent add flagship victory or remove occupation victory mid game but we have always been able to change game settings mid game
