Good day to all of you!
I have noticed that version 0.912 still shows your characters walking on the map once they have been attacked during turn generation. This leads to odd effects at certain times in the game.
In the current game that I am playing I was returning to the refugee village after having dispatched the bandits. I had my path set to go the last two steps to the village but no movement points left this turn. There was an obsidian gollom two spaces away from me. When I generated the turn I received notification that I was being attached, while that message was on the screen my character walked the two squares (putting me out of the gollom's area of attack mind you) before the battle started. When the battle started I had with me the archers that I was supposed to have received for completing the quest (thank goodness as I would not have beat the gollom on my own ;o).
My question to everyone, especially the developers is this: In what order are the characters supposed to move when a new turn is generated, and should the turn generation pause until any battles that are caused are resolved? For example, if monsters (such as the obsidian gollom) are supposed to move before player characters then the battle should have to be resolved before my character could finish their move to the refugee village to get the archer reward. If player characters are supposed to move first then my character should have moved out of range of the obsidian gollom prior to the gollom being able to attack. Or if it is a random order that character and non-character players move (or even character versus character) I think it would make sense that any battles that are triggered need to be resolved prior to the rest of the characters completing their moves.
Keep up the great work. This version has many noticeable improvements over the last one!
