The following are some random suggestions from what I have seen playing so far:
1. Docks. There should be a mechanism to build docks, but not watermills, on the seaside.
2. A new building: Bridge, should be made available in towns of size 2 or larger, allowing them to create an opening to build across a river.
3. Fix the text for recruiting Gaylyn. Currently line two is a mash of two different sentences. She talks about her family mine in the first part, and then rambles into talking about being diligent if you give her a task. I have a save file available right next to her if desired.
4. Work on the randomness of city militia. I've seen variances of 3-12 unit for the same city in the space of a few turns. That's a rather large range. Maybe correct it to: 2+1-2/level+1/20 prestige? This would reduce the randomness of them a bit, not leave you with rediculous amounts (Maximum of 12 without the prestige bonus... which is suitable for a major city.)
5. Consider making outposts usable for recruiting champions. Sometimes it's a long trip back for a champion, and there's no way to get a city close enough. Another option would be having a unit option that enabled recruitment.
6. Armies of Igniss scale too fast on the map. 3 of them show as strong, but are easily defeated by units shown as weak. Igniss should probably be weak with 1-3 units, medium with 4-7, and strong with more than 7.
