The in-game displayed values for DPS have always been misleading for objects like SC....these ships do low damage (on the order of 1 or 2 DPS) and as such, neglecting to display any information beyond the decimal place makes it pretty much impossible to gauge how much DPS these units actually do...
For example, a 50% increase to DPS (which is pretty significant) could take a single fighter SC from .8 DPS to 1.2 DPS...that is a huge difference yet there is no way to distinguish between the two in-game since both would be displayed as simply 1 DPS...
Clearly the game can display decimals...all income sources are reported to the nearest tenth, and that's not the only in-game info reported as such...with the implementation of corvettes (which also do ~ 1 or 2 DPS), I think it would be nice if DPS values went to the nearest tenth...I'm not seeing any drawbacks to this (not asking for 4 decimal places or something ridiculous) and I'd think it would be a very easy change...
