I am not sure how long you plan to have this expansion in dev stage, so I will take that into consideration with my feedback.

• Noticed the upgrades done to the visual effects of the weapons. It was a nice overhaul. I look forward to further refinement though. 
• Titan class ships - I think these were a great addition to the game. They were fun to have but also make you pay attention if one comes to your gravity well! I think the time it takes to make one is about right. It does force you to divert resources early if you want to be the first to have it.
• Starbases - Love being able to build more than one in a gravity well, well done! I think that it would be nice to see some extra things to add to a starbase though. One thought that comes to mind is an upgrade that also allows the starbase to trade with the planet in the gravity well (obviously require trade docks must be at least to 1) in addition to trade across phase lanes. Perhaps add an additional resource that only planetary trade provides that gets you other goodies. Just thinking out loud.
• New Capital Ship - I have only played loyalist so far but I would like to see maybe one more option for capital ships. Perhaps one that is more like a carrier that comes stock with built in 4 fighter craft and can provide additional support for others, perhaps a hull regen to the Dunov's shield booster? (obviously a balance concern potentially but nonethe less).
• New Corvette - I thought the Shirkien (sp?) corvettes were a great addition as well, again nice job! I would like to see perhaps one more though, perhaps one that is a mine-sweeper (aka more than one at a time)?
• Graphics - no graphics glitches to speak of but my system is well above min specs for this game.

Overall Impressions:

I think this is going to be a great expansion. I think that it will bring some additional dimension to the game that it hasn't had up till this point and I think it will be a big hit. BTW, glad its available through Steam instead of GS. I would like to see some additional depth though. I think that you are going in the right direction but I want to know this isn't all you have in store for the final release of this stand alone expansion that truly sets it above and beyond the previous ones.
