I)

Attacked Abeix with Ceresa and a warg. I wasn't able to hit Abeix with Soul Burning/Flame Dart at all. The cursor was barred and the following messages were displayed :  

"Target tile is blocked" or "This ability must hit enemies"

... while using quick combat, my hero was more than happy to cast both Soul Burning and Flame Dart at Abeix and finally defeat him.

II)

In the same battle against Abeix, the monster casts "Fear" but between the message announcing that he casts the spell and the animation of my troops being influenced by its spell, nothing happens for a good 15 seconds.

Both issues can be reproduced via the following auto save file. Just select Ceresa and fight Abeix.
