Right now all I have is my crappy tablet I got for school a few years ago, it struggles with sins late in the game on larger maps.  But I enjoy maxing out the graphics for a few minutes early in the game because, frankly, this game is beautiful.  I'm working on getting myself a good gaming machine eventually, with one of the main reasons being Sins.  Okay, now onto the actual question, certain upgrades like for the Gauss Cannons add, I believe, extra turrets or what have you to the thing being upgraded.  I can't remember if star bases have any visual changes when you do certain upgrades or not, but someone in another post mentioned how it would be cool if you could warp in and visually see that a starbase or fleet has been upgraded or not.  That is, if I spent all this time and money on badass guns and upgrades, I'd like to look the part.

Maybe some of this is already somewhat there and I just have not noticed, or can't cause of my machine.  But something a little more than just shield and laser color for the vast array of upgrades would be really cool.  Haha, then again, maybe this is more work than it's worth or would make the game too big to run on low end machines at all.  Thought I'd mention it though.  Even though I am terrible at it, SOASE is one of my favorite games.  So, I am really looking forward to seeing what comes next.  (more pictures and art please??? -drools-)
