Nice to get some coverage, but i found the preview a bit lacking (on all fronts). It somehow read as if the reviewer wasn't very interested in the game at all.
*shrug* But maybe i got it all wrong .
I'm gonna have to agree with you OsirisDawn. That was an incredibly anemic review. It lacked any passion, and interest. It was like reading something by someone who's forced to fill a quota. Meeting the bare bones essentials, but doing it with a complete lack of flair or style.
I came away with the impression he was forced to review something he couldn't care about. Which coming from Gamespot, is a bit odd. It's their choice, but the one preview over on the 1UP is a great review. Though that one felt like it was written by a person lacking any depth on the thesaurus front. But for lack of sufficient prose, they certainly made the selling point on the feel of D&D. Which as one of the 24 million who've played that game during its life time (I've been gaming D&D for 28 years.) I found that selling point about adventurers stirring up messes that others would have to clean up.. being a great connective piece.
