Frogboy did post in Uberfix about applying that to the main game... it isn't too complicated, maybe one day's work between applying the changes, building, having that dev test it really quickly, pushing it to the SYS team for deployment... doubt they would need to waste money on QA since it's already public.
Quite happy if I'm proved wrong. My take is that uberfix (as it is only bug fixes) should be applied directly to the game (eg not as a mod). But that said, quite a few of these bugs have been documented for months... and a bugfix patch hasn't been released. So, based on that track record, if it requires a new build from GPG, I don't think we'll see those bugfixes incorporated directly into the game.
So, if we don't get a new patched release of DG, then the question gravitates towards can we get mods incorporated with the build so that uberfix would be available as a mod without anyone having to install it directly. There's actually a pretty big benefit in it for us all if uberfix was included for everyone. As the host is the only person that needs to have the mod enabled for it to work, then all you'd have to do is host a game after enabling uberfix and it would be used by everyone joining your game. But, is including a mod something that SD can easily do? I don't know. I'd think if it was simple, we'd already have this.
