When is Occulus going to be released to the public? Also...

When is Occulus going to be released to the public?  Also... I noticed that your website hasn't been updated with the origin story for demon assassin (http://www.demigodthegame.com/origins/).  Will that be receiving an update?  Thanks!  Sorry if I spelled Occulus wrong.

Or you co do what I did, And as well as having a Legit copy of DG, have a hacked version so you can mess around with it.

There is a hacked Reg file floating around.

 

Occulus is fun, but as it was first suggested, more maps would have been much better!

GPG and Stardock said the maps are too complicated and expensive to make. In other words, no more maps probably ever.

Take Cataract and change the colours a bit. Maybe add some grass or something... Would be somewhat of a change.

Honestly I don't care about having the fancy background. I'd just like new maps, they can reuse the backgrounds if they want.

Were we not supposed to recieve Occulus at last weeks stat reset? Not surprised that we didn't regarding the history of past promises only to be deferred indefinately. Just saying though, it's not to be unexpected that we don't have him yet.

They acctually only said "Probably". They didn't promise anything. And if you have played Demigod now for a while you'll learn to interpret Stardocks words "Probably" means more like "It's not going to happen". And next week means in 2-4 weeks

(I'm not saying this as critique, some develepers/publishers don't give any info at all which is much worse)

The whole things are 3d objects. There's no map maker because it would have to be some kind of full fledged 3d studio. They're pretty and all, but I really wish they'd made them 2d models like other RTSs and just dealt with them not being as nice to look at.

I did understand that Synn. I was asking why they did that to start with. Since they now are in a position where it is too expensive to make new maps

The map maker was high probably, or maybe they thought theyed sell enough copies that they could provide us with more maps down the road. Even if we don't get any new ones I am just glad they didn't go with the usual 2-d map and characters or I would cry everytime I was QoT!

That would be nice... but I doubt it.  Frogboy indicated in a recent dev journal that they are requested some tweaks for doc oc... and that means a new build... which means another round of internal QA which means, probably, an extremely low chance of a Christmas release.  Happy to be wrong.
