but you will also want to increasse the RESEARCHSUBJECT_MAXSHIPSLOTSrace#.entity's to allow for the increased cap ships

the names in requiem should be similar but with the race part different for each race. it is a good idea to give each race a similar bump otherwise it becomes a walk in the yard ie no challenge.

copy the files to the requim folder, convert the folder and you should be able to edit them now. If you want to make mods in the future make a folder in the mod folder and copy the gameinfo folder to it, then convert it.

Would you know if there is a guide book that I can download to help me learn to modify the came to my liking? Say nake a mod of my own? Especially ship modifications, not much of anything else.
