Minor sugestion about increasing the AI ability

not asking for anything to complicated, but i think it will help if the AI uses more of the special abilities in this game

i havent played that much, but i have noticed that the ai doesnt use certain skills such as the subverter disruptive field, repulse, hosiko's skills, cleasning briliance, missile barage and so and so forth

i think it would make the ai a bit more chalenging to fight, and its not that hard to implement

I can only imagine how difficult it must be to try to program the AI to weigh and consider hundreds of different variables that would affect strategy. When you consider just how complex the strategic considerations must be, they've actually done a pretty good job with the AI. Regardless of what game you're playing, AI will always be limited, at least in the near future. Even FPS AI still bumps into walls and doesn't always know what to do. Fortunately, you do have an alternative. Have you considered playing the game in online multiplayer against human opponents for a greater challenge? You'll get to enjoy a more intense, suspenseful, and challenging games along with having human allies and trying to coordinate teamwork. You might even make friends online. Of course, it is possible to get beaten (and that will happen often while you're new and learning the online game), but the thrill of victory is probably greater than it is against the AI. For beginners, you might also consider playing humans v. AI games (aka "comp stomps") which would at least give you human allies to chat with and a sense of playing on a team. Just click the Ironclad Online button, create an account, enter a player name, and come join the online fun.
