So, the issue you have is that this only applies on a single map where as other abilities apply equally across all maps? Sounds like Bat Swarm needs a Range increase to allow it's use to be more consistant.

I wasn't comparing the two abilities - their purposes are entirely different. I was merely offering a counter-point to the poor argument that Bat Swarm is an exploit.

You're really missing the point. Bat Swarm itself is obviously not an exploit, but using it to cross the gap from gold mine flag to base on Crucible probably is. Bat Swarm normally covers the ground that it would take ~2 seconds to traverse normally, which is fine. Thats the whole point of the spell. But by using it to warp between Crucible base and Gold flag, you are covering the ground it would normally take 20+ seconds to traverse normally. That effect is out of line with what could be reasonably expected. That is a problem.  

The best solution is probably to modify the map to widen the gap, and keep Bat Swarm's ability to "fly," so that he can still use it to cut around corners, which is fine and intended.
