That's not a desync--if you were encountering a desync, you'd actually get a message to that effect in the game.

Please post a report from speedtest.net so we can see how much upload bandwidth you have. You may also be encountering a bug where someone shopping or assigning skill points while dead will crash their game and disconnect others, which is solved in the update we plan to release in the next couple of days.

Yeah there is definitely a problem when you play with 2 people behind the same router

I can play with my brothers fine for a random amount of time but usually atleast 20 minutes but after that, one of them ALWAYS gets disconnected, then the game progresses fine when only 1 is left, this has been happening everytime so its pretty consistent.

Im on a 24/2 Mbit's connection and they are on a 10/10 Mbit's full-duplex fiber connection so the bandwidth isn't the issue here either.

The game has yet to crash when i play only with one of my brothers and another friend of mine and we've played well over 10 games at the time of this writing.

So there is definitely something fishy going on when 2 people behind the same router are playing in the same match/game.

also it should be noted that we only play games against AI, so its either been 3 or 4 players depending on if both my brothers and/or my friends are playing, so bandwidth requirements should definitely be low.

They all have good computers too (Core2Duo 2GB ram is the "worst") so the game is lag/slowdown free until the bug/player drop occurs.

Frogboy made a post a while back about speed tests - http://forums.demigodthegame.com/352954.  I point this out as you have a low upload speed.  When you have 2 connections going out, you'd logically be utilizing double the bandwidth.  So, I'd wager that is causing your problem.  I'm not sure if the utilzation has been improved since that post, but my guess would be that you could probably pull off a 2v2 on a small map with your current upload speed, but would be unable to do a 5v5 game (as estimated in the post upwards of 20k up... add another player to your network, and now you are over 40k).  I personally think that may be your problem. 

I have had people over and had them connecting to through my network to the internet and played 5v5 games successfully, without them having to configure impulsereactoroptions (though my pc is set up). 

Xmadror - I hope you stop back by this post and provide some extra details... can you and your roommate try a 5v5 game and post if you are still getting disconnected?  And last, are you hosting these games where you lose connectivity or joining someone elses game outside of your network?

My friend plays behind the same router as his brothers as well.  I think changing the impulsreactor.exe file was the solution, gave each computer a set of 20 ports or so, but that may be a bit complicated and not necessary, we're both tech guys so we went for it and seemed to have cleared his system up.

I've been playing behind the same router as my housemate since beta, you just need to set up port forwarding properly and everything should be dandy.
