Do you mean sides as in light/dark or sides as in sides of the map? If it's the latter, then that makes no sense, because all the maps are mirrored.

No they are not. Exile is not a mirror.  The closer health crystal to the forces of darkness is a Mana regen flag, whereas it is a health regen flag for forces of light.  There are a few other examples.

Seriously, a Random Teams option for custom games would be fantastic.

Adding one I haven't seen around yet:

Pantheon / Skirmish joinable as a group - and IN THE SAME UPDATE (I cannot stress how important it is to do this at the SAME TIME Pantheon / Skirmish become joinable as a group) add group matchmaking - i.e. if you join as a 3 man team, you get matched against other 3 man teams if possible.

Welcome to the community, sorry if you had to learn this the hard way and are now feeling stupid for wasting your time trying to improve the game.

Regarding the wishlist, it would be great to have a larger selection of 2v2 and 3v3 maps. Larger games in my experience have been very unstable and just not fun to play at all because of overall game lag, even if it's a game full of reasonable pings and i sorta got tired of playing Prison over and over.
