So I'm playing demigod, we're playing exile, and we're approaching their fortress. I'm on the corner of the turn into their base, and a desync message comes up just as I'm casting a spell. The desync message had been popping up for a couple of minutes, but this time, because I'm casting something, I lose my cursor. Not usually a big problem, the link in the desync window usually highlights itself and I can hit it and it goes away. Not this time, I really get lost, I'm not sure where the cursor is and I'm just standing there, attacking creeps and whatever happens by. I can still get back in the flower and cast ground spikes using the number keys. I have an all father's ring, so I'm not getting killed. It was actually pretty humorous...except at one point I wanted to cast shield...because the key ostensibly bound for targetting oneself (h) doesn't work. I hit 3 then h to target myself, and it doesn't do squat. So I'm stuck there, occaisionally casting ground spikes, and getting back in the flower to heal. so two things, one more important in my mind than the other. fix the desync messages so that you still have a cursor if you're in the process of casting something that takes away your cursor (spike wave was what I think I was casting, you get a little ring in place of the cursor) and more importantly, make a target self key. I almost died. (Yeah, we won, bit of a landslide)
