For the past week I have consistently been matched with players with 400-500+ ping and it is absolutely ridiculous. The worst I have come across is being matched with someone with 1500 ping.  Where was this guy, the Moon?  I try to play at "peak" hours for my country (UK) to avoid getting matched with players in other hemispheres but these kinds of pings still seem very common. The game runs at 50% speed which effectively doubles the length of time it should take to complete a game, laggy games can easily last upwards of an hour, activating/deactivating abilties quickly is next to impossible (which is extremely annoying since I like to play an Ooze UB), interupting abilties and items becomes a complete coin-flip.

Are there not some form of parameters used when determining an ideal matchup?  Because if there are I think they need to be MUCH stricter.  I keep reading that all these patches are supposed to improve connectivity for pantheon and skirmish but my experience seems to be the complete opposite.  As much as I enjoy playing this game, every day that goes by leaves me feeling more and more frustrated to the point where if I can't get into a game first time, I don't even bother giving it a second chance.
