I have to say that while most of the modes aside from conquest are rarely seen, and most people stay to the default settings....perhaps players could either signify what the intended mode was or you could somehow see what the current settings of a game were without joining it.   It is highly frustrating to get into a game only to realize it's slaughter or fortress...or even that you start at level 20, just to have to disconnect and look for another game.   While this won't be as big a deal once the connectivity issues have been further amended, I desire a way to filter games or at least see current settings before joining!
