You guys should complain on the GPGnet forums, as I believe that they are the ones responsible for this. If Stardock tells you that they are working on netcode, that's becuase they are responsible for the netcode. Research who is in charge of what before you blast the wrong people...

I'm finding a trend in my wins that show up as losses. Everytime it tends to be a match with a disconnect, but I believe that it is actually me who is disconnecting from the match and as a result the game goes on without me; the opponent is given an easy win due to my absence, and so it shows as a loss. Basically, the stats don't match what I had, because in the end it was my opponents match stats that got sent to the server.

Of course, it could also be that there is some sort of desync and so neither myself nor my opponent disconnect, but we lose our connection to one another and at least one of the matches will go to the server.

I'm basing this on maps where I notice all of the other players drop, and the match stats are reported differently, thus indicating that it was likely myself that dropped.... hopefully that made sense.

Both Stardock and GPG are responsible for the stats.  GPG (Demigod) creates and sends data to Stardock via Impulse.  Stardock stores the data and returns data back to Demigod.  Stardock is also responsible for calculating the rankings and statistics and displaying the stats on the web page.

There have been issues on both ends of the spectrums and both teams have been working equally hard to try and solve all the issues.  Unfortunately at times fixing problem A has created problem B.  Also our highest priority fixes have had to do with the Networking code so sometimes it takes a little bit longer to address some of the data/stat issues because some of our resources needed to work on the problem are also working on the networking issue.

We will be recalculating some statistics in the next couple of days to correct problems that we have already fixed.  But it will be a gradual fix.  Not everything will be fixed at the same time.  For starters we will be recalculating Experience Scores and Rankings to clear out some cheese tactics that were original used in Custom games.  After that we will start diving into the Win and Losses.
