I get the whole unfairness thing of stacking teams, etc, but I know there must be others who feel that they'd like to play official matches with their friends. That way, you can do strats etc, and learn to play as a team, versus being dropped into a random match and not knowing the strengths and weaknesses of your partners.

You could even make it so that arranged teams could only play against other arranged teams. I think it's something that is missing from the inherent competitive nature of Demigod, one that could probably increase the stickiness of the game as well as nurture the whole competitive team aspect of the game.
