Most people play fire (as myself) because they want lot of kills and underestimate the power of supports skills in a good team. When you play support you don't get lot of kills but you can make your team win!
Exactly! I have specialized in the Frost TB for on-line MP, and I get few kills, but I also rarely get killed. I accept to play a second-line, support role.
For example, when I'm near a Citadel (mine, or the enemy's), I avoid melee fighting, and I can dish out a lot of damage against the siege monsters. At such a point of a game, when Citadels are surrounded by mobs, the Frost TB is usually of a high level, and he can dish out a lot of damage against enemy troops that are in a compact bunch. (Killing the enemy heroes, though, is not as easy, but the Frost TB can set-up the enemy DGs to be finished off by ally heroes.)
My only issue, now, is that I find the Frost TB a little boring to play. I'm stuck in an efficient support routine which helps my team a lot, but which gets very repetitive, for me.
