Where did the slang word "creeps" come from? It just seems unprofessional and unworthy.
Dota
because of how they progress through there given paths, mainly from DotA. Since in DotA you never really "upgraded" your uncontrolable units they just progressed in newer units eventually and usually both teams, units were upgraded at the same time. All that had to be done was to "protect" your group of from a few waves and by momentum they would in fact "creep" closer to the enemy defences on there own until an enemy player diffused the momentum and started there own.
but there not that slow on some maps on exile there fucking slow but on cataract or levi there pretty fast
its from war 3 first...
I prefer the term 'mook,' but then again, that's more general.
dota dota dota
now i think demigod hasnt got anything to do with dota, the idea may have come from it.. but for me its totally diferent.
i both, play both, hurry!
peace y'all
//freaky
don' take his advice DOTA is garbage...^__^
Who cares....
Warcraft III orignially, although now I just call any npc controlled unit/character a mob.
Good wild guess, but they were called creeps before DotA. Creeps were the AI units placed on maps that you could kill to level up your hero.
It's from Starcraft the 'creep' is the purple goo that creep colonies make. BITCHES
They're creeps if you don't have giants, reinforcements if you do.
I agree, completely unprofessional..totally unworthy...it's an all around unethical term to use. Strike it from the record! Get rid of this horrible term for good!
...
/sarcasmoff
Because video games are so professional and are backed by a high end vocabulary such as newb and leet.
Hehe, like I said, who cares...
You realize, of course, that if leetspeakers were pithed at puberty, we wouldn't have this problem.
Thank you for your kind words of support.
lol, at least they aren't called twinks like from a another immensly popular game.
when they have giants they are big mac EXP. when they are without giants they are just cheeseburgers. Without cheese.
hmm would be calling them walking gits
