Looking for Help for new mod

Hi all. I'd like to make a mod based around one of my ideas, but I've never modded before. I'd appriciate any and al lhelp, and if I can do something for ya'll, just ask!

Anyhow, here is my first "finished" ship model, minus UV and textures till I learn how to do that
