Easily connect to your friends online

Okay this isn't a 100% thing yet but me and my friends have been trying to connect to each other since release but just haven't been able to get one game going. Then we tried using hamachi, but instead of going to local network we used it online and we could connect to each other within seconds. We were able to play several games today for the first time and the only difference was us using hamachi. Don't know if this was posted yet but I think this is a pretty good way for some people to connect to their buddies.

yep, hamachi seems to work fine, gameranger is also used a lot (but mainly by pirates sadly). Stardock/gpg will spend the week fixing the netcode, those that have problems should have a much better game experience in a week or two.

A friend and I are going to set up a VPN tomorrow and try out lan play I'll let yall know how it goes. I am not having much problems in stardocks mp, except only being able to play cruicble in patheon games and just the length of time to get a game started.

Just to clarify the VPN we live about 30 minutes driving from each other.

the thing is that it helps for the online part also not just for LAN.
