Unbalanced 1 v 1

So i just played an unbalanced 1v1 flag territotrial game. I was Torch bearer and he was the girl on top of the tigar..dont know the name.

Anyway - I got first blood, however after that the game diminished - how the heck do you recommend being able to dominate when her ability to heal just completely ruins any damage I do to her, in a 1v1  situation its compltely unfair and unfair to expect it to be equal - she could also do 1000 damage to me, which is the same as my nuke damage, and Im meant to be the assassin!

This game is a team one not 1v1 really. If you want 1v1 make sure your the same hero or do a balanced match up. Thats like playing DotA 1v1 or WoW 1v1 etc.

Get faster attack and criticals. She wont be able to heal fast enough. If im correct there are also items with mana burn and mana drain capabilities.

Like DalzK said, it's not like this is about 1v1. I see your point about assassins though..

But Sedna (the tigergirl.. mm..) isn't that op 1v1. I don't remember the exact numbers, but I don't think Pounce deals 1000 damage, it's less. You both have to pay mana for your skills, it's not like Sedna gets free heals, Healing Wind excluded. You as Torch Bearer also have more damage skills than just fireball, can have stun, and such. TB is also a ranged demigod, Sedna is not (though se can close the distance, but still).

Sedna is hard to kill, but not unbalanced even for 1v1 I believe.

You need to be ice first of all. The interrupt is what is key to killing her. Also crit and life steal and attack speed so you can out damage her heal with those stuns. Mana drain gloves help too.

Correct on both accounts.

There is a gloves and armor that both give you a chance to crit (do additional damage).

You also want to get more weapon damage upgrades (usually in the form of gloves or weapons at the artifact shop) attack speed upgrades will also greatly increase your damage.

Getting the staff that increases your speed (boots of speed or the favor item that increases your speed) can let you kite her.

Deep Freeze will interrupt her heal and greatly increase the cooldowns of all her abilities. its very much designed as a counter measure against healers like Sedna. try it sometime. Fireball isn't the only spell Torch has, after all.

Bwaha, any Sedna that loses to a torchbearer is asleep, thats it.

Sooooo easy to out heal the dps of torchbearer, throw in silence if your at the 1k fireball range and your screwed before you can do anything. Torchbearer is the one hero I constantly will always hunt down as Sedna lol.

Right - please stop saying that I shouldnt od 1v1, it was the frickin pantheon that setup the match I didnt want to do it....

 

Ok, so I should take the ice route next time??

ice will help control her. Deep Freeze is a great interrupt and cooldown increasing debuff. Frost Nova can stun her (for a short time) and her minions (for a long time). ice is generally better against Sedna than fire is. try it.

torch is imo the weakest hero atm...

no chance killing sedna

he is nice in team clashes but no 1v1 killer

Nice team clasher is an under statement. If a fire / ice tb comes up from behind you when you're fighting consider yourself dead right there. 3x shatter combo + 1350 fireball + other demi.

@ OP 1v1 situation erebus and UB are your only options. They can beat everyone else with relative easy or simply avoid them while picking off towers. (doesn't matter if you can't kill sedna if you focus on creeps, she has terrible aoe problems till a girdle of giants. While UB can aoe creeps down since level 5. Erebus gets his minions very easily and they're free.)

This game will probably never be balanced well 1v1, and it shouldnt' really be any sort of priority.  It works well in 2v2, so it's fine.

No, her last pounce does 1000 I believe, also interupting casting. As well as giving her other things.  I never have a problem taking her out as Torce Bearer.  I usually ice shower, freeze, frost strike, attack until ice shower is ready again.

A lot of skills cast too fast to make interupts useful.  Anything under 1 second you can't interupt because of the .350 delay.

It's great for interupting teles though.

I play "catwomen", and her heal takes a while to respawn.  200 for pounce at first.  Most any interupt/stun and she's in deep trouble.  She's OP   I WISH.
