Oh common demigod texture artists!

Oh common you damn texture artists, you're supposed to be good at what you do.  When looking around in the textures, what do I find?

CROP LINES?!  I realize tiling bricks are a royal pain in the ass, but seriously.  In the damn center too...

EDIT: What's with the 3 missing maps, too?

EDIT2: Seems that this texture may not be used at all!  Sorry mates.

Ok, you are looking at a brick texture. (cuz everybody does that, right?)

You find a crop line. You say the job is poorly done.

 

Dude, these textures are so small in size in game that you can easily give them some slack.

Given the insane low zoom required to view that, and the fact that the line is incredibly difficult to see even at that zoom, I for one am not concerned with it.

Wow people can really be so hardcore. But yeah that kinda show how the artist is a bit slack off lol. Can't really say it game breaking though, but yeah it kinda make the feeling more "unpolished" i guess.

Well crap...thats it...now I can't enjoy the game, theres and obvious mistake in the texture matching and someone didnt use the photoshop heal brush.  I am so glad we have people who can point these issues out so I don't end up enjoying a game with such obvious flaws.

 

I did notice one other little thing...100' castles don't move like that...they got the physics all wrong

yea, are you sure you didn't confuse the in game shots with the shots taken of the walkway outside your house that were photoshopped?

 

i want to say he is trolling, but that's too much effort; finding links, etc

Those are photographs not textures.

And risk - badly tiled textures is just a pet peeve of mine in games.  Because this texture was smack-dab in the middle of other used ( I think) I thought this one was too.  Thus the topic and the recent urge to go crawl under a rock for making it

Yeah it's not a great texture, but the ones I've actually seen ingame look fine.
