arranged teams are absolutely necessary.

I have been playing with a friend and we have been having tons of fun getting better and working on new strats, I know this is a game we will be playing for a very long time. If custom game rewards are taken away and we are forced to play with random noobs with different ideas of strategy or play together and get no rewards we will lose intrest very quickly.

This game is facing alot of challenges but if handled correctly this will be a top game (it already is to me) I have trust in Stardock, they have been working very hard so far.

we need more player interactivity.

we really need to be able to chat with each other inside the game.

whiteskull, both sides have equal chance to team up, or to not team up, and as you move up the ladder you face harder opponents.  Besides, how is it "real skill" to lose time and again to a stranger ally that constantly runs to his death feeding them gold?  Or leaves early?

Arranged teams is a must.  This game is on the edge of a blade between becoming THE next great online game played by all for years, or forgotten, based on these types of decisions.

Arranged teams are a must, but it should be arranged teams vs. arranged teams, randoms vs. randoms. Not everybody has friends who play the game, or wants to commit to a clan. They still should have a chance to play other games than just custom maps. Arranged team, especially one using Vent or other vc versus bunch of randoms isn't even a game, it just assrape. With a log. With spikes on it. Really :/

THAT i can live with, but what normal happens is those friend teams end up steam rolling randoms 20-0 in a single day over and over and over, while only facing other friend teams once in a blue moon.

if you want your teams then do custom games there ya go, and you can make sure you only face skill teams in return, after all thats what you want right?

It's getting fixed:

4. Favor Points and such. There’s some annoying stuff happening with favor points which is related to the ranking system in Demigod as well. First off, we plan to reset the rankings at some point when we enter Epoch 1 (we are in Epoch 0 presently game-wise, I’ll explain Epochs later but in short, every so often we’re going to reset the rankings, save the results as an epoch and go from there). In Epoch 1, custom games won’t count anymore as there’s too many ways to game it.

Yes arranged teams, and what is up with the lack of community features. Even the ingame friends chat is broken!??

No way to invite people to games? 

Wow, just wow. This is like picking up ancient old internet technology that lacks all the basic features that lobbyes, games, instant messenger services have.

Even the IRC chat is bad, cant create new windows so you can switch channels and backlog..

Sad to see this game released too early

you gotta give a game more than a week to develop a competitve community

yes there should be 2v2 3v3 4v4 and 5v5 automatch but that will hopefully come in an update, as it did in COH

in a peer2peer system i think there are going to be so many options for kicking other players out of the game @_@
