Thought I throw this out there as I know I'm always looking for something new to play. Demigod is kinda in the same gameplay style as Spellforce 1 and 2. Main difference is that it is more rts'ish in that you build a base. Your main hero is RPG styled. If other peeps are looking for something to kill time Thought I'd throw it out there.

It's not really close at all. Some of the custom maps, maybe..but it was a great game regardless.
Spellforce is more like a traditional RPG with RTS elements thrown in. Demigod is like an RTS with RPG elements thrown in - DOTA.
Not really mate. I see where you are headed, but you could argue the same with warcraft 3, for instance.
The closest thing to this is DotA (Defense of the Ancients), and it's since day one a game the devs looked upon for inspiration.
Still would kill for a new spellforce game with updated graphics, then you have the new Kingdom Under Fire game which is RTS/RPG/Dynasty Warriors (not circle of doom of course).
