Its great. A solid game wherein you feel like you wield a good deal of power, with a very unique cast of playable characters to choose from. But there are some things to watch.
Chief amongst these is connectivity. Will Impulse match Steam in ease of use and function? Demigod`s Pantheon play mode is a great idea that requires absolutely remarkable networking backbones to be everything the developers intend it to be. At this stage it may be fair to say such utility is yet unproven.
Once a Demigod or faction gets rolling, it can be very difficult to turn the tables. Perhaps more an issue with balancing of Item cost & abilities, which of course is still ongoing. (And normal...)
The singleplayer content will consist of some type of Pantheon contest ala the multiplayer. Nothing of that experience has specifically been meted out to the beta people, so what precisely that features I cannot say.
More Demigods and maps upon which to play have been promised as free downloadable content, with more on the way if sales are good. Such assets will greatly extend the span of the game.
Hope that helps.
