[MOD] TEC Capital Ship Voice Mod v5.2.1 (Updated 6/19/09) added Robot Hoshiko, New Cobalt and New Ogrov Voicings.

TEC Capital Ship Voice Mod 5.0

 

 

This is a voice change to all 5 of the TEC capital ships. This mod works with all versions of Sins and Entrenchment.

Here is a brief description of the voices:

KOL - Captain is a vetern of many , many years and by all accounts has been in outer space way too long.

SOVA - Out of all the ships this captain is a real military man.

DUNOV - This captain is as calm and cool as they come.

AKKAN - Captain is fresh out of officer training and ready to impress

MARZA - This captain has a little attitude problem but loves the action

For those of you who may have downloaded any of the single voice mods i made prior to this one , note these have been remastered. Made some changes to the sayings for the Akkan, fixed the alarm on the Sova ,and the Marza is now human not the grim reaper as before............................Enjoy and let me know what you think

So far I like the Kol voice. Very Klingon "Today is a good day to die!" I loved that one.

Will be trying the others soon.

I think the captain of the Kol just might be suffering from a little "Space Dementia"......... ....Thanks i hope you like the rest of them.....................

Actually i'm working on changing some of the TEC Frigates and Cruisers right now . I have lined up some women to try doing some vocals for some of these ships . I have always felt that was lacking from the TEC race. To tell you the truth i have never really played with the Vasari or Advent that much but i will and see what comes to mind.

please change the accent on the entrenchment cobolt. I HATE the accent used for it in entrenchment, it was ok in vanilla

Hey, its about time someone changed some of the old voice's lol.  I think that these are so much better.

I've added 2 samples from each the cobalt and dgrov on the preview mods page at my web site so you can check them out. Just a reminder, These ships are included  in the "TEC_CSVM_v5.2.1" not v5.0

It features a new race and a story line to sink them into the universe of sins. Hey, I wanted to hear if you mind, that I use the voices in my mod? It will have some "new" units and some new voices would be a great addition.

Well, then your grim ripper is probably gona voice the most overpowered capital ship in the sins modding history cabable of destroying a starsystem

I haven't tried it yet, but I think it'll be good (voice mod that is).

pet peeve of mine- spelling errors

the TEC Torpedo Cruiser is actually Ogrov (O, not D), not Dgrov. It's just the game fonts that make it look that way. I've been confused a little by it too.

OK heres te deal rjhughes.... if you or anyone can help me out, I was wonderin if you or anyone who reads this could either tell me step by step how o make voice, or ship  mods, I'm new to SOASE but I'm learning fast...Is there anywhere in th efourums that have a step by step tutorial of how to make mods, especially for ships, I stil need a mesh to .3ds or .obj file converter, for the files so I can run them in 3ds max 7 , I can make new ships all day long but would rather use the game ships as a template and enance them, any Ideas, links would be greatly apprecated, I'm also gonna post this in the forums main. rjhughes.. you know alot about doin voice mods , are we instore for a tutorial anytime in the near future. That would be awesome. asta and reat job on he voice mods...HMMMMM I wonder who did the voices for ya on the last one?? Oh yeah it was me , hahahaha asta..

a place to start would be to go to the very top of this forum page and click on the downloads button then when your there download the forge tools. Inside that is some tutorials for modding sins including ships and game. Give that a look and i will see what else i can find.

does this work with diplomacy? if it doesnt i reckon i could just rename the files to fit with diplomacy
