pre orders that get the retail box automatically get collectors edition. if you buy box in store its regular

just being able to play the game. no box no extra stuff. as far as i know anyway
I think they offered to mail the collector's edition "rook model" to those who ordered the digital version as well, for a fee. There was also the MyColours theme for those who order from this site / impulse.
Don't take my word for it though.
Eventually you will be able to upgrade from the digital version to the collector's edition box version for ~$5 + shipping and handling, IIRC.
